304 hot rolled stainless steel sheet is based on 300 series austenitic stainless steel and produced through hot rolling processes. The rolling temperature typically exceeds 1100°C, forming the steel slab into plates at high temperatures, suitable for producing thicker gauges. Compared to cold rolled sheets, hot rolled sheets feature an oxidized surface (typically No.1 finish), a broader thickness range (above 3mm), and good mechanical and processing properties.

310S Heat-Resistant Stainless Steel Sheet
310S stainless steel sheet belongs to the 300 series high-alloy austenitic heat-resistant steel, with chromium content as high as 24%–26% and nickel content of 19%–22%, making it one of the best high-temperature resistant stainless steels commonly available. The “S” in 310S stands for ultra-low carbon (carbon content ≤0.08%), ensuring minimal carbide precipitation in high-temperature environments, thereby maintaining excellent oxidation resistance and intergranular corrosion resistance. This material can be used long-term in high-temperature environments up to 1000°C–1150°C, with short-term use temperatures reaching up to 1200°C.

316 stainless steel sheet belongs to the 300 series austenitic stainless steel, with 2%–3% molybdenum (Mo) added on the basis of 304, significantly improving resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Known as “marine grade stainless steel,” 316 is widely used in marine engineering, shipbuilding, port facilities, and other harsh environments due to its excellent seawater corrosion resistance.
